Background
Wolfgang Rack, MSc (1995) and PhD (2000) at the Institute for Meteorology & Geophysics, University of Innsbruck, Austria; Research Scientist at Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research in Bremerhaven, Germany (2001-2006); Senior Lecturer for Glaciology and Remote Sensing at Gateway Antarctica since 2006. Over ten years experience in glaciology with emphasis on remote sensing in polar and alpine environment; several field trips to the Alps, Patagonia, the Artic and Antarctica .
