- Environmental Advisor - Antarctica New Zealand

‘In my role as an Environmental Advisor for Antarctica New Zealand, I work on a range of environmental monitoring, clean up and impact assessment projects for the New Zealand Antarctic programme. Prior to this I was working for the Department of Conservation on New Zealand's Southern Islands working on environmental management projects.
The range of skills and experiences I gained from my time at university have set me up for a career that is fun, exciting and diverse. During my studies I worked on several glaciers and ski fields, travelled to the Sub-Antarctic and conducted research in Antarctica.
I highly recommend the Post Graduate Certificate in Antarctic Studies. The range of skills I gained from university has allowed me to pursue my interests in my career, working for the Southern Islands area office monitoring visitor impacts on Stewart, Campbell and the Auckland islands.'
